How requests work
- Create a free account, or log in.
- Open the series and tap “Request translation”.
- An admin reviews the request. If it is approved, the latest chapters are translated, and new chapters can be translated over time.
- You can follow your requests under “More” in the app.
Not every request is approved, and it can take a while before chapters are ready. Each user can send a limited number of requests per day.

Questions and answers
Can I read without signing up?
Yes. All available chapters can be read for free in your browser without an account. An account is only needed for a library, saved progress and requesting translations.
Which series are available?
Whatever is listed under “Start here” and in the catalogue, with the number of chapters. Many series on MangaDex are not available here.
How does the translation work?
Chapters come from MangaDex, usually in English. AI reads each page, finds the text in the bubbles and translates it, and the text is placed on top of the original in the reader. A chapter is translated once and can then be read by everyone. Translations may contain mistakes, and you can always see the original.
How do I request a translation?
Create a free account or log in, open the series and tap “Request translation”. An admin reviews the request, and approved series are translated over time. There is no promise that everything will be translated, or how fast, and each user can send a limited number of requests per day.
Can I read offline?
Yes, you can download a chapter in the reader and read it offline on the same device. This needs a browser that supports it and free space, and the download stays in that browser.
Who makes the chapters?
Chapters come from MangaDex and are made by scanlation groups, who are credited on every chapter. The series belong to their creators. MangaNO has no agreement with MangaDex or the rights holders.
